Q. What is 0191Handyman?
A. 0191Handyman is a full-service repair and maintenance company specialising in all of the around-the-house handyman tasks that we all have a list for.

Q. Who is sent to my house to do the work?
A. A Uniformed 0191Handyman technician will arrive at your home carrying his own tools in a clearly marked van. All of our technicians are 0191Handyman employees, not subcontractors. We carefully screen each of our employees before hiring, and they are insured and all possess a high level of skill and experience. Our technicians arrive on time, ready to work.

Q. How do I schedule a service appointment?
A. Just call and we will help you schedule an appointment. Alternatively, fill out the on-line contact form and we will contact you at your preffered time.

Q. What won’t you do?
A. As a general rule, if the work requires specialist training (e.g. IEE or CORGI registration), we would recommend that you get a specialist who is certified in that field. However we may be able to help by sub contracting the work to the required specialist. Apart from that, we are happy to consider anything. For larger jobs, we will carry out a site visit and give you a quote before we get started.

Payment:

Q. How do you charge?
A. At 0191Handyman, we charge by the hour/half hour. This way our customers are charged only for the time that we actually work.

Q. Can I get an estimate for my job?
A. Generally, the smaller jobs that 0191Handyman specializes in do not lend themselves to estimates. If you have a larger job however, give us a call and we will be happy to arrange a visit to provide an estimate.

Q. How do I pay?
A. You can either give cash or a cheque to the technician at the end of the job, or in some cases you can pay by credit card.
